VIRTUAL CONSULTATION
As different designs have different complexity, an exact quotation can only be derived by sharing the designs or concept you have in mind. If you need our guidance on choosing the right package to suit your needs, a consultation would also help you. Do note that we would prefer not to replicate work from other artists, so we will take your reference designs as new ideas that can be incorporated into our work while we provide suggestions. A bespoke design to complement the bride's outfit or theme is available upon request.
TRIAL
A trial is highly recommended if you have any skin condition or allergies, especially to certain essential oils, or if you would like to see how well our paste performs on you. It would help if you did the trial at least six weeks before your event date. The type of paste and placement determines the price. Click here to book your trial.
WHEN TO BOOK
If you choose natural henna, jagua gel or hengua, it is highly advisable to book your appointment two to three days before your event date as they require 24-48 hours to oxidise into its peak colour fully. For white henna, we recommend that you have it done as close to the event time as possible, e.g. if your event starts in the afternoon, book an appointment in the morning. This ensures that the white henna remains fresh and in good condition for your event.
If you are booking alongside a henna party session, we propose having your henna session the day before the henna party. This will allow the bride to be free to greet and interact with her guests and minimise distractions for the artist.

WHITE HENNA & JAGUA GEL are popular choices due to the fact that it is a modern and unique take on the traditional art form. "White henna" is a cosmetic-grade adhesive applied onto the skin the same way you do with henna paste. Unlike the other plant/fruit based dyes, white henna sits on the surface of the skin instead of dyeing it. The ability to remove it from your skin with just baby oil makes it a popular choice for brides who have commitments that do not allow them to have stained hand. Jagua comes from the extraction of a fruit called Genipa Americana, or jagua fruit, and has been used by South American native tribes as body decoration as well as for medicinal purposes. Jagua works the same way as natural henna, just that it produces a very light grey when first removed, almost invisible, and then oxidises into a dark blue shade within 24 hours. Henna for family, friends and guests is billed at a per hand basis. We can provide more than one artist for a venue. While we are eager to accommodate you on several days and to different locations, we can also hold henna party sessions on the same day as the bridal or engagement session, noting no guarantee for the same time slot.
